Bungee jumping at Qing Long Canyon

We've packed into the car and drove out there, and it wasn't too far of a drive. Well we first started doing research for this a week or two in advance and I was really excited about it because originally we just wanted to go bungee jumping. But then upon doing research on the Qing Long Canyon we found out that there is a lot more stuff to do there than just bungee jump.

 

"You can see the whole area. You can see the speed boat and the bungee jump tower."

 

"So, while Alice is down at the river doing the really boring rafting I have a much better idea. I think I'm going to regret that decision."

 

"We've got to do that later."

 

"I went to the bamboo area and tried the bamboo raft. I've never tried before so it's really funny. And the water when I put my face in the water it felt really cool. Feel really good."

 

"Aside from the Great Wall that you can see on the ridge line, and the huge Buddha that's stuck into the side of the mountain. It's all these big trees that make for shaded walkways. You can just relax. Everyone is so spread-out that you have space to hear your own thoughts."

 

"Cause I really wanted to do some crazy stuff like he did all the interesting stuff."

 

"Bon Voyage! Oops."

 

"Sit down."

 

"Keep this position? Alright I'm ready are you? Bye bye."

 

"So when we first drove in to the Qing Long Canyon area when we heading over to the hotel area and stuff. It was really interesting because you see the dam but then you can also see like just this like little bit of the tower sticking out and so from minute one I was thinking about like oh, we're going to go do some bungee jumping. But like everything that we did, you can if you just turned your head you could still see that tower. So no matter all the other activities that we did we were constantly reminded that at some point we were going to have to jump off of that."

 

"I don't know what I'm doing."

 

"What do you mean?"

 

"I'm getting nervous now."

 

"No, I didn't say not to go I said I was a little nervous."

 

"I was there and it did not seem like that at all. It seemed like you were terrified."

 

"You are getting nervous?"

 

"Yea."

 

"It's going to be ok! But you're going to go first."

 

"Yeah I will go first because if you go first I will go away."

 

"Ok yeah. Ok let's do it. Let's go. Ladies first."

 

"Thank you."

 

"It's all good."

 

"I'm a big girl."

 

"Yeah look and they'll go test out the ropes. It will be fine."

 

"Yeah."

 

"We're going to be ok. I mean I'll be ok."

 

"I then I saw you go and my first thoughts were, I'm not doing this. I just burst out in laughter and I like doubled over and I told Luy no."

 

"Oh no, that was a bad idea. I'm never doing that again. Never ever, ever in a million years ever. Never ever ever ever. Oh my God. Oh that was terrifying. Oh my god."

 

"Are you Ok?"

 

"Oh that was awesome. Never doing it again though. Terrified. Absolutely crazy. I tried closing my eyes at the beginning thinking oh that will make it less scary. But then you open your eyes way too early because you start falling and you are just like, ahh what is happening? And then I opened my eyes and it was terrifying. Absolutely terrifying. I loved it and I hated it. Oh it was so cool."
