Railway as an alternative for an efficient, fast and inexpensive way of transportation. In the last years, the Chinese government has invested billions in order to improve Eurasian rail connections. In Europe, countries like Germany have an excellent infrastructure, in fact, they transport products not only from their own country but also from the ones nearby. Likewise, there are other countries that are looking forward to developing and upgrade their railway connections. The Netherlands for that matter, which is already Europe's largest port, is one of the countries that are working hard in order to achieve this initiative.

G&D Europe, an entrepreneur Dutch company, that was established in 2010 by Jan-Paul Vegt and Yonggao Liu, is one of the businesses that is exploring  alternatives that hopefully will allow them to transport their goods from Rotterdam to China without paying millions of Chinese Yuan ”Renminbi” in air freight shipments or similarly, reducing long times of maritime shipments.
